Surface mount technology (SMT) is a method for constructing electronic circuits in which the components are mounted directly onto the surface of printed circuit boards (PCBs). Stencil printing is the first and the most critical step in the whole process, during which SMT stencils are the most important tool whose flexible design determines the success of the entire SMT assembly line.
